Golden Age Village, which was officially opened in 1968, was the first of many residential and community-based services operated by Churches of Christ Care in the area. The village is situated on the same site as a residential facility that includes both a hostel and nursing home.
Community focus
The Lodge at the Golden Age Village is a beautiful venue where you can get together to meet new friends and live life to the fullest. The upper level is a perfect space for guest entertainers and speakers, festive celebrations and parties, videos, cards, craft, bowls, and meetings. On the lower level, activities include games, billiards and barbeques.
A program of monthly activities takes place and an active Residents’ Committee regularly organises bus trips and outings. You can enjoy the best of both worlds at Golden Age Village – there is so much to do and share, but you can also retain your independence and your connections with the wider community.
