Bribie Island Village is a friendly community where you can enjoy comfortable and relaxed living close to the waterfront and just an hour’s drive from Brisbane. At Bribie Island Village, you can relax in your self-contained unit surrounded by extensive landscaped gardens that are a feature of the village. Best of all, the waterfront is only one street away and you can take a short walk to Pumicestone Passage with its beautiful views across the still water to Redcliffe, Brisbane and the Glasshouse Mountains. You can also enjoy an early morning or evening stroll around the lovely gardens and the billabong, which are home to a wide variety of birds.
The community includes 132 independent living units and a Club House has recently been completed. The village is situated on the same site as a residential facility that includes a hostel and nursing home. Bribie Island Village also manages a further 12 residences on the surf side of the island. Woorim Units are located one street away from the beach and next to the golf club.
Community focus
At Bribie Island Village, there is a wide choice of activities for you to take part in if you wish. Regular activities and get-togethers are held in the spacious Club House and social outings to events and local attractions are open to everyone, including those who are in wheelchairs. On site, the community has indoor bowls, croquet, and its own library. There are barbeques held in the grounds every month where residents enjoy a change of pace and get to know each other better. The village also has an active Residents’ Committee. You can enjoy the best of both worlds at Bribie Island Village – there is so much to do and share, but you can also retain your independence and your connections with the wider community.
