Pastoral Care
Churches of Christ Care (Care) is an agency of Churches of Christ in Queensland – a group of churches that is part of the worldwide Christian church. As an integral part of the church, we are charged with the task of providing care in the name of Jesus Christ.
As well as providing physical care through services such as aged care and foster care, Care is committed to creating an inclusive, caring, compassionate environment in which the spiritual needs of clients and staff are also met.
Care’s dedicated network of volunteers, trained pastoral care workers, and local clergy provide a range of pastoral care services throughout Queensland, including:
- Pastoral Visitors
- Pastoral Carers
- Pastoral Care Team Leaders/Coordinators (Chaplains)
- Local Clergy
