Churches of Christ in Queensland is a group of churches that is part of the worldwide Christian church. They are similar to other mainstream denominations.
Churches of Christ began with a passion for Christian unity more than 200 years ago, and a belief that the way to reunite the churches was to return as closely as possible to the church Jesus intended. It started with a desire that there should be no separate Protestant denominations, just Christian churches.
Churches of Christ Care (Care) is an agency of Churches of Christ in Queensland. As an integral part of the church, we are charged with the task of providing care to the poor and disadvantaged, in the name of Jesus Christ.
