Care is a leading provider of aged care, early childhood, child protection, and affordable housing and support services in Queensland.
As a not-for-profit organisation we proudly support in excess of 22,000 clients annually in urban, rural and remote localities. We operate 137 services made possible with the support of more than 2,300 staff, over 600 volunteers, 513 foster carers and 239 in-home and family day carers.

Services provided by Care are funded by a mix of government subsidies, grants, fees and charges for our services such as early childhood services and residential aged care, and through fundraising activities.
As a division of Churches of Christ in Queensland (a mainstream Christian church), Care upholds Christian values and community spirit. Our services are offered to all those in need regardless of religion.
Care is built on a foundation of Christian values, commitment to quality care, and trust and respect for clients and the community. As a body incorporated under the Religious, Educational and Charitable Institutions Act, Care reports to the annual general meeting of the incorporated body.
Care has two operational divisions: Aged Care and Family and Community Care. Care’s operational divisions are supported by several divisions including Corporate Services, Capital Development and the Executive Services Group.
